Developer - GIS, Database & Web Services
Fusion GIS is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Developer to join their team working on an exciting new development project.
Under the direction of the GIS Manager you will be required to:
Evaluate, design, develop, install, maintain and enhance GIS products with an emphasis on web based mapping and tools.
Assist in the development of project proposals
Undertake Project Management
Recommend and advise on optimal approaches and alternatives for GIS applications.
At times utilize GIS products to perform analysis and create professional maps for a diversity of projects.
You will be required to have skills and experience in:
· .NET
· C ++
· SQL Server
· IIS
It would be desirable if you possessed skills in:
· Silverlight
· MapInfo / ESRI
· Mobile Mapping technologies
· Database design and implementation
· Delphi
· Java
We are seeking applicants with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role who is tertiary qualified in computer science or spatial science and who is looking to advance their career by leading and building a new development team.
